Friends of Bearley Park
A small charity established by volunteers in 2015 to support the operation and maintenance of Bearley Park and holding events to raise money and seek grants for projects in the Bearley Play Areas. Volunteers ensure regular inspection and maintenance checks as demanded by health and safety and insurance requirements and maintain safety schedules and records. Following regular maintenance inspections worn out items are replaced as required.
Funds have been raised for picnic benches and saplings from Woodlands Trust have been planted by a group of children. An assortment of play equipment for toddlers and juniors was procured and installed. A “car wash” fund raising event is planned using the jet wash donated by the Parish Council.
