Friends of Bearley Village

Friends of Bearley Village (FoBV) was established in July 2013 as a small charity to promote community activities, to hold events and other fundraising activities to raise funds for community projects and apply funds to projects within the village. Signature activities of the FoBV to date are Summer Fayre and Fete, Craft & Produce Show, Christmas Craft and Fayre, Children’s Easter Event, Band Concert, support for Bearley Open Gardens, Festive Winter Wonderland Supper and most recently A-Z Bygone Bearley, bringing young and old of the community as well as neighbourhood communities together. The funds raised by the Friends have contributed to many projects around the village including improvements to the Village Hall, St Mary’s Church, the pedestrian refuge on A3400 also providing a new bench for Bearley Green and additional notice boards for the village.
