At St Mary’s we have our doors open every day, and they remain open every day from 9 to 6. Just please turn off the main lights when you leave!
We now have a Communion service at 1100am on the first Sunday of the month and occasional evening services as well. Keep an eye on the Boards. We have been through awful; times, but have endured almost three miserable years them and now with grateful thanks to the Lord, we can now meet in proper association and worship.
Remembrance Day on the 13th of November was marked by a lovely little service. The names of the fallen from the two World Wars and from Afghanistan were recalled and a two minute silence held to think of all those who have served and continue to serve.
Christmas Services
The Christmas Services in the Benefice are on the Notice boards. Here at St Mary’s we get the Christmas season off to a great start with our Service of Light at 6pm on Sunday the 27th November. It will be a super candlelit service of readings and song. The new lights on the Yew tree outside the porch will be on for the first time (Thank you Friends of Bearley Village!) Do come and join in and give a proper start to Christmas!
The other Services at Bearley are on 18th December at 1100 and on New Year’s Day also at 1100 (this will be a Common Worship service with Carols) A great way to start 2023!
Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year to you all
With Love and Blessings
Jane and David Harrison
