On Thursday 9 September, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its 21st neighbourhood plan referendum.
Voters in Bearley Parish went to the polls to respond to the question:
“Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Bearley to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
The results were as follows:
The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 184 (89.8%)
The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 21 (10.2%)
The turnout was 38%.
