The Bearley Annual Parish Assembly was held in Bearley Village Hall on Monday 25 April.
Under the Local Government Act 1972 it is mandatory for Parish Councils to organise an Annual Parish Assembly to update the residents on the activities of the Council and allow everyone who is on the electoral register to speak on matters of concern. It is not a Parish Council meeting and the only ‘official’ business is to approve the minutes from the last Parish Assembly held in April 2021.
As is usual on these occasions, Village Organisations were invited to send a representatives to provide an account of their activities during the preceding year (2021-2022).
