With the Queens Platinum Jubilee Weekend only weeks away, here is some information on what will be happening in Bearley Village…
Bearley Jubilee Family Fun Day, Saturday 4th June 12noon – 4pm.
Coordinated by Friends of Bearley Village and Bearley United Football Club, there will be a Family Fun day at Bearley Village Hall and Playing Fields on Saturday 4th June from 12noon to 4pm.
Local people are invited to join in the celebrations marking the Queens Platinum Jubilee, why not bring your family, friends and a picnic. There will be lots of FREE activities going on for all the family.
The Woodland Kitchen will be offfering a BBQ, The Bar at Bearley will be open for refreshments and Ice Cream and Friends of Bearley Village will be hosting Tea, Coffee and Cake in the Village Hall.
For Children there is a Bouncy castle and slide, hook a duck, garden games and face painting and they can also have a go at arts, crafts and junk modelling. Why not encourage the children to come dressed as their favourite royal, king, queen, prince or princess.
For the active ones amongst us Bearley United FC will be putting on a Foot-Golf Course and Beat the Goalie on the Playing Fields, rounding off with a Tug o’War later in the afternoon.
Bearley Jubilee Children’s Art Project.
Friends of Bearley Village invite all Children of Bearley from 0-18 years of age to ‘make your mark’ in this commemorative year of the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Our 2022 Art project, supported by the Spotted Treehouse (Stratford), will give local children the opportunity to design a tile to be displayed as a permanent feature at Bearley Village Hall.
We invite you to join one of our FREE art workshops on the following dates:-
– Tuesday 24th May 4.00-5.30pm
OR
-Thursday 26th May 4.00-5.30pm
All tiles will then be kiln fired ready for children to view their finished tile at our Bearley Jubilee Family Fun day (see above) on Saturday 4th June.
