Residents will be aware that a community woodland is being planned as part of the Heart of England Forest at Bearley and Pathlow (see post here ) and local residents have the opportunity to help design, plant and look after this special woodland. 11,000 native broadleaf trees will be planted on the 16 hectares, with 30% – 40% being oak to complement the surrounding woods.
Heart of England Forest are inviting local residents of Bearley to join Stephen, Head Forester, and Toby, Community Engagement Manager, on Tuesday 7th September to help finalise the design.

For those not able to join the event on 7 September, the Parish Council will work with Heart of England Forest to arrange an information session in the Autumn on how to get involved further with this exciting initiative coming to Bearley.
