Village Plan

Village Plans prepared by the community for registering the planning, social and economic issues in each village community are very important tools for the District and County Councils in preparation of Local Plans and tailoring services as well as facilitating communities to address issues. Although such plans were not statutory, preparation of such community led plans have provided influencing information for Local Plans and registered community wishes and aspirations.

 

In adopting the 2012 Bearley Village Community Plan minutes of the 20 May 2013 the Stratford District Council Cabinet Meeting recorded “That the Bearley Village Community Plan 2012, as amended by the March 2013 Addendum, be adopted as:

  • a material consideration in processing planning applications, in accordance with Policy CTY.5  of the Local Plan Review; and
  • an important source of local information.
